OmniSoil

Every soil is unique, and the crops you grow in it have their own unique requirements. OmniSoil is a comprehensive assessment of soil nutrient levels, but is far more than a standard soil test. Developed internally over 15+ years, OmniSoil analyses the condition of your soil, the crops you are growing and your yields and produces a detailed analysis, product recommendation and application schedule that is completely unique for a paddock, grove or orchard of your farm. As even neighbouring paddocks can vary significantly OmniSoil means every part of your property is delivering precisely what is needed to get maximum crop yield.

The Process

  1. Contact us and we'll arrange a sampling kit for the areas/paddocks you'd like to analyse.
  2. When your kit arrives simply follow the included instructions - fill a sample bag halfway from each area/paddock, fill out the sample recording forms and courier/post your samples to our lab.
  3. Your regional Omnia Agronomist will analyse the results, produce an in-depth profile and recommendation for each sample, and send it to you via e-mail.
  4. Your Agronomist will work with you to ensure your soil produces exceptional results, year after year.

OmniSap

As OmniBio™ looks at what nutrients your Soil is providing or lacking, OmniSap® looks at them within your plants. It provides a comprehensive nutrient analysis of what the plant has experienced in recent weeks, and what needs to be adjusted for optimal health and yield. This 'health snapshot' can be done at any growth stage and provides statistically verifiable information on what is happening with the crop, along with product recommendations and application schedules to remedy any underperforming aspects.

The Process

  1. Contact us and we'll arrange a sampling kit for the plantings you'd like to analyse.
  2. When your kit arrives all the instructions are included. Ideally collect your samples before 10am in the morning, and keep them refrigerated or cool. When you're ready to mail your samples, fill out sample recording forms and courier/post your samples to our lab.
  3. Your regional Omnia Agronomist will analyse the results, produce an in-depth profile and recommendation for each sample, and send it to you via e-mail.
  4. Your Agronomist will work with you throughout the growing season to ensure consistent peak performance.

OmniBio

The management of soil biological life starts with an OmniBio™ analysis, which forms a significant part of Omnia’s Nutriology concept. Utilising free living nematodes as key indicators of microbial life, OmniBio™ analysis gives insight into the levels of fungi and bacteria present, as well as any problem parasitic nematodes. An assessment of enzyme activity provides a unique window into soil microbial activity. An OmniBio™ analysis offers enzyme assays as a means of determining a microbial population’s potential to degrade or convert carbon, phosphorus and nitrogen substrates to plant-available nutrients.
